Same Day Credit Hour Submission
Upon completion of each course taken, your credit hours earned are reported directly to your State Insurance Department by BetterCE. See our Course Reporting Policy for additional information.
Upon completion of each course and submission of earned credit hours, BetterCE includes an Insurance License Renewal Reminder for the customer. This information provides the customer with specific renewal instructions, as well as the specific renewal site where the agent needs to complete their license renewal process.
Many State Insurance Departments use the National Insurance Producer Registry, or NIPR, for online insurance license renewal processing. Other States may use Sircon (Vertafore) for online license renewal processing. Whatever the case, our support team is here to guide you through the entire license renewal process.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where Can I Check My License Status and Renew My License?
We provide access to everything you need to manage your license on Your State’s Course Catalog Page. You can View your CE Transcript, Access Your Renewal Application, View a Demo of our Course Delivery, and View a Summary of Your CE and Renewal Requirements using the
buttons provided above the course listing.
Also, every time we report your Credits, we send you our “Next-Step Notification” email with links to access your CE Transcript and provide specific instructions on what you need to do next to keep your license active.
How Do Your Courses Work?
Our courses are Text-Based, Self-Study Courses that you read through at your own pace. They are “Assessment – Based”, meaning you don’t have to spend the full amount of time in the courses. Instead, you must demonstrate knowledge of the content by passing short chapter quizzes, and a Final Exam with a grade of 70% or better (there are no Final Exams in Ohio or Utah). Quizzes and Exams are scored instantly and can be taken as many times as required to pass. Upon completion of each course, we submit your credit hours to the State, the same day as you complete each course.
All courses are fully mobile compatible, so you can take them on any Computer, Tablet, or Smartphone. You can log in and out of your account at any time and your progress will be saved and you’ll be taken directly back to where you left off when you return. How Long Will I Have to Complete the Courses I’m Enrolled?
You will have access for 1 year from the date enrolled. If you need additional time, contact us within 30 days from courses expiring and we can extend your access if needed.
What If I Decide I Don’t Want to Finish My CE and Want A Refund?
Simply contact our office and we will issue an immediate refund. Please note that we generally do not issue refunds for courses that have been completed and credits submitted because there are often State Fees charged for submitting your credits. Still, contact our office and we will do our best to make sure you are happy.
What if I don’t Pass the Final Exam for a Course?
Then you can take it again as many times as needed. We rarely encounter a situation where a student is unable to pass.
What if I Do Not Like the Courses?
Then you can call us and we can easily switch out for any other courses, or we will happily issue a refund. We rarely get these requests, but we always want our customers to be more than satisfied with our products and services.
How Long Will It Take Me to Complete My Courses?
There is no set answer to this question since it varies greatly based upon many factors such as: experience, learning goals, course selection, etc… We tell most Agents to enroll and start the courses and within 20 minutes they will have a general idea of how long it will take them to complete their courses.
