Life Insurance Basics Part 2

In Part 2 (4 hours) of this course agents will dive deeper into more complex life insurance and investment products. Agents will be introduced to financial planning and estate planning concepts, business uses of life insurance, underwriting, and general tax provisions and considerations. For new agents this course serves as an excellent introduction to financial planning concepts. This will serve as a refresher course for more seasoned agents and financial advisors.

Topics Include:

  • The application of life insurance in financial and business planning
  • The implications of life insurance in personal and business taxation
  • How the life insurance industry is organized, and its regulation by the state and federal government
